Abstract

Aiming at the problems of instability and insufficient energy dissipation of traditional single-layer BCC lattice sandwich panels under extreme dynamic loads, a dynamic analysis model of a double-layer BCC lattice sandwich panel was proposed, which was aimed at revealing the vibration characteristics and improving the structural stiffness and damping performance. Based on three-dimensional elasticity theory and spectral geometry method, and by incorporating the modified homogenization equivalence principle and virtual spring boundary technology, the dynamic equations for double-layer BCC sandwich plates were established. The natural frequency and random vibration response expressions were derived via energy functional. Numerical examples validate the model's convergence, and comparisons with finite element results confirm its accuracy. Additionally, the effects of unit cell height, cell size, and rod diameter on the vibration characteristics were discussed to provide theoretical guidance for practical engineering applications.
