In order to solve the problem of high tillage resistance and noticeable vibration during the vine burying process,a slip-cutting cut-and-throw device was proposed. Theoretical derivation of the sliding-cutting angle formula for the soil cutting knife and force analysis of the cutting process on the knife surface were presented. The initial polar diameter, bending angle, and equivalent angle were considered as test factors. The torque and traction resistance of the soil cutting and throwing device served as evaluation indexes for a single-factor discrete meta-simulation test. Structural parameters influencing the torque and traction resistance were determined, and the trends of various factors on the evaluation indexes were analyzed. The Box-Behnken test was applied to examine the significant interaction effects of the factors, leading to the development of regression equations. The NSGA-Ⅱ(non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II) algorithm was employed to optimize the evaluation indexes, resulting in the optimal parameter combinations: bending angle of 23.49°, initial pole diameter of 74.99 mm, and equivalent angle of 38.61°. These parameters correspond to a simulation test torque of 382.68 N·m and traction resistance of 265.25 N. Compared to the control group using the original cutter, the slip-cutting cutter shows a 12.69% reduction in torque, a 49.21% reduction in traction resistance, and a 34.33% reduction in torque fluctuation. The result offers theoretical support and reference for the design and optimization of the soil cutting and throwing device in grapevine burying machines.
