Aiming at the problems of difficult disassembly and assembly of anti-swing hoisting equipment for Marine cranes and the low robustness of control algorithms, a disassemble and assemble anti-swing hook module was designed, and FFTSMASC-IAL (fuzzy fast terminal sliding mode anti-swing controller with improved approach law was proposed). Firstly, the dynamic model of the anti-swing hook module was established by using the Newton-Euler method and the theory of robotics. Then, the validity of FFTSMASC-IAL was verified through MATLAB/Simulink. The simulation results show that: under different forms of wave excitation and operation scenarios, the suppression effect of FFTSMASC-IAL on both the inner and outer surface angle swings has been improved by more than 10% compared with the traditional CTC (constant tension controller). Finally, the effectiveness of the anti-swing hook module was verified through experiments. The experimental results show that under different forms of wave excitation, the in-plane and out-of-plane angles of the constant resistance control were reduced by more than 80% respectively compared with those without the anti-swing device.
