In order to improve the seismic resilience of steel frame structures, steel frame structure with energy dissipating walls and concrete filled steel tube swing truss was proposed. In the proposed structure, holed buckling restrained steel plate shear walls(holed BRW) were used to improve the energy dissipating capacity of structure, and the concrete filled steel tube swing trusses were used to enhance the post-earthquake resilience of structure. Dynamic nonlinear analyses of space steel frame structure with energy dissipating walls and concrete filled steel tube swing trusses under actual seismic motion were conducted to investigate the seismic response reduction effect and post-earthquake recoverability. The analysis results show that the holed BRWs can effectively dissipate the seismic energy and reduce the seismic damage of frame structures. The concrete filled steel tube swing trusses make the inter-storey deformation of structure more uniform to avoid weak storey damage. Furthermore, the prestressed steel strands at the bottom of swing truss can effectively reduce the residual inter-storey deformation of structure and improve the post-earthquake resilience. The proposed novel structure can be used for new buildings or seismic reinforcement and renovation of existing buildings.
