The Huashikou silver-lead deposit is located in the eastern segment of the Longshoushan metallogenic belt, which is rich in nickel-copper, cobalt, platinum group elements, lead-zinc, iron-manganese, phosphorus, and uranium. This belt is known for hosting minerals such as nickel-copper, iron, gold, phosphorus, uranium, and lead-zinc, with significant prospects for silver-lead ore exploration.Based on the results of the 1∶10 000 geological reconnaissance and 1∶10 000 soil geochemical survey. The geological characteristics of the Huashikou area were summarized, including stratigraphy, lithology, structural fracture zones, and wall-rock alteration. R cluster analysis, factor analysis, and element parameter statistics were employed, through which Pb, Ag, and Zn were identified as the dominant ore-forming elements, while Sb and As were determined to serve as key prospecting indicators. Additionally, five comprehensive anomaly zones dominated by Ag, Pb, and Zn were delineated. After verification through trenching exploration, two new silver-lead ore bodies, one lead-zinc ore body, and one lead ore body were discovered yielding promising prospecting results. Furthermore, by integrating regional geological data, a geological-geochemical prospecting model centered on the HT3 anomaly zone was established, along with recommendations for future prospecting directions.
