Abstract

Inductively coupled power transfer (ICPT) system has been extensively applied in various domains such as rail transportation, aerospace, medical equipment, etc. in recent years. Regarding the magnetic coupling structure utilized in medical computed tomography (CT) equipment, to fulfill the practical requirements of long-term low-power stable operation and instantaneous high-power output, while achieving information acquisition and real-time feedback, a synchronous information and energy transmission technology for ICPT system based on the combination of multi-terminal magnetic coupling structure and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) technology was proposed. Firstly, by analyzing the multi terminal magnetic coupling structure compared to the traditional single terminal structure, it is shown that it has better transmission performance, and its energy transmission effect has been verified through simulation. Secondly, based on the actual demands, the OFDM technology was employed to combine signals and energy, realizing the synchronous transmission of information and energy. Finally, by establishing an experimental model on the MATLAB/Simulink simulation platform, it is verified that the proposed technology not only enhances the energy transmission efficiency but also enables the synchronous transmission of signals with a low bit error rate. Compared with the traditional wireless power transfer systems, its energy transmission efficiency is increased by 10%, and the signal bit error rate is reduced by 3.5%, validating the effectiveness of the proposed technology.
