Reinforced concrete, as a widely used composite material in the engineering field, has always been a hot topic of research in relevant fields regarding its durability and safety. In practice, the bond-slip performance between steel reinforcement and concrete is crucial for ensuring structural safety and stability. The influence of multiple factors such as the anchoring length of reinforced concrete, the thickness of the relative protective layer, the stirrup index, and the longitudinal stirrup corrosion rate on the bond-slip between reinforcing bars and concrete was studied. Initially, a bond strength prediction model for uncorroded specimens was developed based on a statistical analysis of 75 test results from beam and pull-out experiments. A prediction model for the bonding strength of uncorroded reinforced concrete considering the anchoring length, the relative protective layer thickness and the stirrup index was established, and the prediction results were in good agreement with the test results. Subsequently, a bond strength degradation model for corroded specimens was established using 240 pull-out test results, considering the corrosion rate of longitudinal rebars and stirrups, concrete strength, and anchorage length. It shows that the predictions matches the experimental observations more closely by accounting for those factors. Finally, the pull-out model is validated and analyzed using ABAQUS finite element analysis, with the simulation results showing good agreement with the experimental data.
