To address quality issues such as voids, detachment, and incomplete concrete filling in tunnel lining during construction, a new type of lining carriage concreting system was proposed. Based on the traditional lining carriage, modifications were made to its concreting system by integrating two methods: layered window-by-window pouring and longitudinal arch top continuous pouring. The new system combined an oscillating distribution car with a longitudinal arch top continuous concreting mechanism. In this system, side form concreting was performed by the oscillating distribution car, while arch top concreting was achieved through a drive device that feeds a hose, carried by a hose bracket, into the pre-pouring track. A longitudinal continuous pouring method was employed, in which the carriage moved backward as the concrete was poured. Additionally, stress analysis was conducted on key components, such as the carriage frame, using Ansys, and comparison tests were carried out with the traditional pouring system. Experimental results indicate that the newly designed structure reduces the void rate by 90% and the non-dense rate by 81.8% compared to the traditional lining carriage. This system effectively resolves issues of incomplete concrete filling and voids in the arch top. The new lining carriage concreting system significantly enhances the quality of the lining and effectively reduces voids and non-dense phenomena during the lining process, demonstrating strong potential for engineering applications.
