Taking D1 volcanic gas reservoir in the Junggar Basin as an example, aiming at the problems of uneven production allocation and empirical dependency issues in volcanic gas reservoir development, a multi-objective constrained optimization model for production allocation was constructed. Various constraints, including gas well capacity, reservoir characteristics, and formation pressure balance, were comprehensively considered, and a multi-objective optimization model was established. The grey wolf optimization algorithm was introduced to achieve global search, while a plane-balanced development strategy was employed to ensure a coordinated decline of formation pressure. The results show that under the premise that all constraints are satisfied, the optimization scheme is shown to achieve a coordinated match between gas well production and overall production planning, thereby significantly enhancing production efficiency and reservoir utilization. The model and algorithm are demonstrated to possess high computational efficiency and global optimization capability in the optimization of production allocation for volcanic gas reservoirs, thereby providing innovative technical support for the scientific development of volcanic gas reservoirs and the construction of intelligent oilfields.
