Abstract

In order to solve the problems of current surge and voltage fluctuation during the switching process of independence and parallelization in hybrid ship microgrid, based on the characteristics of switching mode of hybrid ship microgrid, a virtual switch switching technology with inverter control strategy as a key was proposed. On the basis of establishing the mathematical model of the inverter and analyzing the parameters of the droop control strategy, a virtual switch for mode switching was established by introducing a saturated proportional-integral controller into traditional droop control. By switching between saturated and unsaturated states, the operation mode of microgrid could be switched, ensuring the stability and consistency of the control structure, which can achieve seamless switching between independent mode and parallel mode. The hybrid power ship simulation model was build in MATLAB/Simulink to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of virtual switch switching technology. The results show that using a virtual switch switching can reduce the fluctuation difference of switching frequency, accelerate switching response speed, and greatly improve switching performance indicators while ensuring stable operation of independence and parallelization.
