Under the background of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, the requirements for the system configuration optimization capability of wind farms with hybrid energy storage systems (HESS) are continuously increasing. To enhance the synergy of system configuration optimization and mitigate wind power fluctuations, a multi-objective optimal configuration method for grid-connected wind and energy storage integrated system based on fuzzy control was proposed, comprehensively considering economy, smoothing effectiveness, and service life. Firstly, to match the energy storage distribution with wind farm's performance characteristics, the fast Fourier transform (FFT) was applied as a frequency division method to achieve power allocation for the HESS under the adaptive wavelet packet smoothing strategy. Then, a multi-objective optimization model was established, considering economic and stabilizing effects, to determine the optimal HESS configuration scheme. Finally, a fuzzy control strategy was designed to optimize the lifespan of energy storage, improving the charging and discharging levels of high power storage (HPS), effectively optimizing the state of charge (SOC) of HPS.
