Abstract

A distributed voltage and current coordination control strategy based on consensus algorithm was proposed to address the issue of traditional droop control in DC microgrids, which failed to simultaneously ensure voltage quality and power sharing accuracy. In the primary control, droop controllers were utilized to distribute power among distributed energy resources (DERs). Secondary control employed proportion integral controllers for voltage compensation to ensure voltage quality and current compensation for load current sharing accuracy. Moreover, a current-limiting function suitable for discrete dynamic consensus algorithms was designed to prevent control failures caused by converter of distributed energy resources exceeding their rated capacity during system operation. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed strategy was verified through stability analysis and simulation using the MATLAB/Simulink platform.
