Abstract

The vibration and noise of the swash plate axial piston pump are attributed to various factors, including the fluctuation of the swash plate moment, the conversion of high and low pressure during the distribution process, and the fluctuation of outlet flow. In addressing the swash plate moment pulsation during the operation of the axial piston pump, a simulation model for the swash plate moment was established using AMESim software, in conjunction with the swash plate mathematical model of the axial piston pump. The impact of V-shaped and U-shaped structure throttle grooves on the swash plate moment was analyzed. The results show that the size of the piston's moment on the swash plate is negatively correlated with the overflow area of the throttle groove during the connection of the piston cavity with the oil cavity. However, excessively small overflow areas can lead to a deterioration in the boost capacity of the distribution plate's throttle groove, resulting in larger swash plate moment fluctuations in the axial piston pump. The variation in the overflow area of the throttle groove affects the piston cavity force, which in turn influences the moment of the piston on the swash plate. To address this, a VU combined distribution plate throttle groove was proposed, leveraging the advantages of both U-shaped and V-shaped grooves, effectively reducing the moment fluctuation of the axial piston pump swash plate.
