Abstract

In the expansion phase of space flight net security, the large weight in the middle of the net leads to the rapid rebound phenomenon of flight net, which severely influences the expansion performance of the network. To enhance the expansion rate of the flight net, based on the quadrilateral plane flying net, a dynamic model for the unfolding of the flying net was established using the spring particle method. Without changing the overall quality of the flying net, the mesh structure was optimized to make the flying net quality tend towards uniformity. It does not affect the displacement and expansion time, but also boosts the net expansion rate. The expansion performance of two common different structures before and after the optimization was compared by numerical simulation. The results reveal that the expansion rate of the heterogeneous mass distribution network is significantly upgraded by optimizing the topology and the mesh structure.
