Abstract

The elevated configuration of a steam turbine generator set represents an innovative paradigm for coal-fired power generation, markedly deviating from the spatial structure inherent in conventional coal-fired units. In order to ensure and elevate the performance of the cooling water system for high-level arrangement auxiliary machinery, the auxiliary machinery cooling water system was classified into four interrelated subsystems based on functional and layout considerations. Requiring the utilization of APROS software, a meticulous model of the auxiliary machinery cooling water system was established. Subsequent to an optimization of the high-level arrangement auxiliary machinery cooling water system, a rigorous quantitative comparison and dynamic characteristic analysis were conducted between the original and enhanced systems. Outcomes delineate that the improved system effectuates a reduction in auxiliary machinery operating temperatures, with peak node temperatures consistently maintained below 65 ℃, thereby substantially amplifying cooling reliability.
