Abstract

Tread winding tension accuracy affects the moulding process and vulcanized goods quality. It focused on tension control during extrusion linkage winding for quality tread products. It analyzed tension fluctuations in tread products due to changing winding diameter and speed, developed a tension system model, and created an observation algorithm for tension during system operation. Secondly, a simulation model was built to verify the fast response speed of the self-immunity control, the ability to control the tension stably, and the excellent immunity to interference and internal parameter perturbation by comparing the control performance of active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) and proportional integral derivative (PID) in the start-up-operation phase of the system. Finally, controller parameters were optimized via the crowd search algorithm (SOA), and applied to the tension system model, validating the designed crowd-searching self-resistant control strategy's accuracy. The Guilin Rubber Design Institute's process technique and performance index system, valuable for real production, are referenced in the control algorithm.
