Abstract

In recent years, memory seats have gained popularity among a diverse range of consumers for their simple operation. This new type of seating offers an easy-to-use interface that is highly regarded. However, the vast majority of memory seats configurations domestic and overseas still facing the problem of high cost and low adjustment accuracy. In order to improve the experience of car owners, a seat adaptive adjustment electronic control module based on facial recognition technology has been proposed, which makes operation more convenient and adjustment more accurate through simpler and more efficient code. Firstly, the best human recognition scheme was determined by using OpenCV through the microcontroller. Secondly, the microcontroller unit (MCU) automatic control technology was used for the circuit design of the seat control system and the writing of the electronic control program. Finally, the electronic control module was run and verified by using the STM32 microcontroller, and the recognition success rate reached 92%. The research results show that the face recognition system ensures the recognition accuracy while controlling the cost, and it has practical significance for simplifying the seat adjustment process and improving the actual experience effect of users after combining with the memory seat in the car.
