Abstract

In order to study the bond slip constitutive relationship of PVA fiber reinforced concrete under sulfate freeze-thaw cycles, four types of concrete mixed with different volume percentages of PVA fiber were subjected to different times of sulfate immersion freeze-thaw cycles. The experimental results show that, within a certain range, the compressive strength of concrete can be improved with the increase of PVA fiber content. PVA fiber can prevent sulfate intrusion into concrete to a certain extent, and can enhance the compressive strength of concrete at the initial stage of sulfate freezing and thawing. Adding a certain percentage volume of PVA fibers to concrete can increase the peak slip of bond between reinforced concrete and increase the plastic strain of concrete. Increasing the number of sulfate freeze-thaw cycles will reduce the peak slip of reinforcement in concrete.
