Abstract:To improve the performance of the equipment engine in the plateau environment, the effects of fuel-engine synergy on the engine performance was analyzed. The comparative tests were carried out on the diesel engine test simulation platform in the plateau environment. Based on the results, the effects of different fuels and engine control parameters on engine combustion and performance were analyzed. The results show that the engine performance at high altitude can be improved through the synergetic adjustment of fuel injection quantity, injection timing and injection pressure. At 3 000 m altitude, the fuel injection quantity can be adjusted from 2.5 mg to 5 mg, the injection time is from 1 to 3°CA, and the injection pressure can be increased according to the operating conditions, the premixing process is fully mixed, and the exhaust temperature is reduced; at 4 100 m altitude, the adjustment range of the injection quantity is between 5 and 10 mg, the injection time is between 1 and 5°CA, and the overall adjustment range of the injection pressure should be kept between -15 and 15 MPa. Through the reasonable matching between the engine injection strategy and the physical and chemical characteristics of the fuel, the collaborative optimization of the engine is realized, so as to achieve the goal of plateau power recovery.
