Due to the combined effect of the extremely small radius of the track curve and the reaction forces exerted on the vehicle as the long rails pass through the curve section. The operation safety of long rail transport vehicles is poor when long rails are carried through a curve section with an extremely small radius of R65m .In order to ensure the safe operation of the designed long rail transport vehicle during track operations on the curve section. First,a theoretical analysis of the curve passing performance of the long rail transport vehicle is presented. Then,the reaction force of the vehicle caused by the bending deformation of the long rail when it passes through the curve section is calculated. The dynamic simulation model of the long rail transport vehicle is established, and the operation safety indicators for a long rail transport vehicle during low-speed dynamic passage through a curve section, both with and without a load, are calculated. The safety evaluation is carried out according to GB/T 17426-1998 after superimposing the reaction force. Finally, the theoretical calculation and simulation analysis are verified by a real vehicle test. The results show that the designed long rail vehicle has the ability to pass through the curve section with an extremely small radius of R65m, and its limit speed under heavy load conditions is higher than that under no load conditions. Additionally, the long rail transport vehicle exhibits excellent safety performance while dynamically traversing the curve section at speeds ranging from 5km/h to 15km/h, both with and without a load. It also maintains a sufficient safety margin, meeting the speed requirements for practical rail operations.
