Abstract:Research on the coupling scattering characteristics between the rough ground and the complex target has always been a valuable subject in radar target recognition. In this paper, the composite electromagnetic scattering characteristics of rough ground and target are reconstructed, including the Radar Cross Section (RCS) characteristics and the imaging characteristics of Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) of the composite model . Firstly, the geometric model of the complex target and the numerical model of the rough surface are carried out to construct the integrated geometric model of the ground and the target. Then based on the space ray diversity technology, ray tracing technology and cleavage structure recognition algorithm, the scattering centers of the composite model are isolated, including the scattering centers of surface structure and the cleavage structure. Based on the form of the attribute scattering center model, the parameters corresponding to the scattering center are positively determined, eventually a rough surface complex target scattering center parametric model is established. By comparing the reconstructed scattering characteristics with the measured results, the coupling effect between the ground and the target is analyzed, which is of great significance in the field of radar target recognition.
