Abstract:To investigate the therapeutic effect of plasma exchange in drug-induced liver injury. 45 patients with drug-induced liver injury were treated with 79 case-times of plasma exchange. The result of liver function, renal function, electrolyte, prothrombin time activity (PTa), blood routine before and after the treatment were analyzed. After plasma exchange, clinical symptoms of patients with drug-induced liver injury were improved. Alanine tranasaminase and aspartase tranasaminase, total bilirubin, direct bilirubin, blood ammonia obviously decreased (P< 0.05 or P<0.01), PTa obviously increased (P<0.05). There were not obvious side effects during treating. It is concluded that plasma exchange is comparatively effective and safe in treatment of drug-induced liver injury.
