Requirements description is one of the important aspects of requirement development and management. The semi-formalized and formalized description methods of information requirements are researched thoroughly, and six typical methods are listed. Then their ideas, characteristics and applicability are analyzed. Finally the trend of the description methods for information requirements is discussed.
