VAc polymerization rate is an important factor in the process of PVA production. Combined with the polymerizing velocity equation of VAc solution polymerization using methanol as solvent and the industrial process status, the causes.of polymerization rate fluctuation of VAc were analyzed and the major factors were found out and the countermeasures to solve such problems were suggested.
