downhole throttling is the key means to develop the anticipative gas well. This paper descript the tests in Daqing Xushen gas field which aim to degrade the surface pressure, and prevent the hydrate as well. Through the production before and after the test, we can see the advantage of downhole throttling technology, meanwhile the problems in application was analyzed in detail, Field applications of the technique in 4 wells achieves satisfactory results, and experiences provide the feasibility of application on a large scale.
