Abstract:There is a large resource amount in the 2nd Member of Xujiahe Formation gas reservoir in Xinchang –Hexingchang area, Sichuan Basin. It has good potential for exploration, but it has the complex characteristics of deep buried reservoir, strong heterogeneity, high temperature and high pressure, fracture controlling production and so on, so "Sweet Spots" prediction research is necessary. Therefore, the pre-stack elastic parameter inversion is used to predict high-quality reservoir , coherence, fault factor and entropy are used to characterize the fracture development at different scales, and then "Sweet Spots" is predicted on the basis of high-precision reservoir prediction and fracture detection. The results show that the fist type "sweet spot" area is mainly distributed near the North-South fault, which has been verified.
