Abstract:Objective Chemokine-like factor 1 (chemokine-like factor 1, CKLF1) plays different biological roles in many malignant tumors. This study aims to investigate and analyze the expression level of CKLF1 gene in renal clear cell carcinoma tissues and cell lines Its clinical significance. Methods: Immunohistochemistry, Western blot and real-time PCR were used to detect the expression level of CKLF1 in clear cell renal cell carcinoma tissues and renal cancer cell lines, and to analyze the correlation between the expression of CKLF1 in renal cancer tissues and the clinical pathological Fuhrman grade.ResultsImmunohistochemical results: The expression of CKLF1 in clear cell renal cell carcinoma and adjacent tissues was significantly different (P<0.05); there was no significant difference in the level of CKLF1 expression between clinicopathological grades (P >0.05). Western blot results showed that the expression of CKLF1 protein in the three cell lines ACHN, and Caki, HKC was significantly different (P<0.05); The results of qRT-PCR showed that the expression of CKLF1 mRNA in the three cell lines ACHN, Caki, and HKC was significantly different (P<0.05).Conclusion The expression of CKLF1 was significantly up-regulated in renal clear cell carcinoma tissues and renal cancer cell lines ACHN and Caki, .CKLF1 is a potential molecular marker of renal clear cell carcinoma.
