醋糟与剩余污泥共发酵体系中底物配比对挥发性脂肪酸产量的影响

    挥发性脂肪酸(VFAs)是生物脱氮除磷的优质碳源,为进一步提高剩余污泥厌氧发酵VFAs的产量,并结合山西省酿醋行业发展的实际情况,考虑将醋糟与剩余污泥进行共发酵,探究此体系中底物配比对发酵产酸性能的影响。本文设置三个实验组:剩余污泥单独发酵作为空白对照组、剩余污泥与醋糟共发酵实验组(实验组1:VSS污泥:VSS醋糟=2:1;2:VSS污泥:VSS醋糟=1:2)。结果表明:共发酵体系可明显促进VFAs的产生,实验组1、2最大挥发酸浓度为4856 mg COD/L、8595 mg COD/L,分别是空白组(3675mg COD/L)的1.3倍和2.4倍;且醋糟的添加有利于小分子酸(乙酸)的产生。添加醋糟在引入溶解性碳水化合物的同时,弥补污泥单独发酵过程中碳氮比例的不平衡,从而促进溶解性有机物水解,为发酵产酸提供基质,最终提高VFAs产量。

    Abstract:

    Volatile fatty acids (VFAs) are high-quality carbon sources for biological nitrogen and phosphorus removal. In order to further increase the yield of VFAs during anaerobic fermentation of waste activated sludge (WAS), and in view of the actual situation of the development of vinegar industry in Shanxi Province, we considered the co-fermentation of vinegar residue (VR) with WAS to explore the changes of VFAs production. What’s more, the effect of different feedstock proportion on VFAs production was studied. In this paper, the acidification performance was compared by setting up three experimental group: the WAS alone fermentation as Control, and the co-fermentation of WAS and VR as experimental group (experimental group 1: VSSWAS:VSSVR=2:1; experimental group 2: VSSWAS:VSSVR=1:2). Experimental results showed that: co-fermentation system can significantly improve the VFAs production. And the maximum VFAs concentration of group 1 and 2 were 4856 mg COD/L and 8595 mg COD/L, which was 1.3-fold and 2.4-fold of that in Control (3675 mg COD/L), respectively. Furthermore, the addition of vinegar residue can promote the production of small molecular weight acid (acetic acid). Adding vinegar residue, not only brings the soluble carbohydrate, but also can adjust the C/N ratio during anaerobic fermentation of WAS, which can improve the soluble organics’ hydrolysis and provide basic substances for VFAs production.
