Abstract:In order to solve the problems of secondary pollution and sediment load which are caused in the in-situ?remediation?of?of black-odor water body by enhanced coagulation, a new type of carbon fiber (CF) eco-grass filler combined with aeration technology was used to purify the black-odor water body after enhanced coagulation treatment by?simulation?experiments. The raw water was collected from a small, closed, black-odor water body with poor fluidity, and the effluent treated by potassium permanganate enhanced polyaluminum chloride coagulation was used as test water. The purification efficiencies of turbidity, ammonia nitrogen, COD (chemical oxygen demand) and UV254 (ultraviolet absorption) in test water treated by blank processing, aeration, CF eco-grass restoration and CF eco-grass combined with aeration were studied. The results show that the CF eco-grass has good hydrophilicity, adsorption and biocompatibility, and the active biomembrane can be formed after 10 days. The effect of CF eco-grass combined with aeration technology on the restoration of black-odor water body is significantly better than that of the other three treatment methods. The highest removal rates of turbidity, ammonia nitrogen, COD and UV254 are 95.37%, 80.78%, 77.27% and 77.50%, respectively. It is concluded that the combination of CF eco-grass and enhanced coagulation technology can solve the problems of secondary pollution and sediment load easily caused by coagulation sedimentation technology, and the combination of enhanced coagulation, aeration and CF eco-grass restoration technology has a good development prospect in the remediation and restoration of black-odor water body.
